Coaches and Managers
Greetings All,
Firstly a great big thank you from the committee to all the coaches and managers for putting up with us this year.
As the season is quickly coming to a close it is an opportune time to talk about the close of this year and the immediate future.
As you all know we have a meeting for all coaches and managers next Monday at the RSL club. Please be there as we will be discussing many things.
Here are some announcements:
1. Nick Buonanova has been appointed as Head Coach for Ourimbah for the 2009 with a further 2 year option. His knowledge of the game and his commitment to OUFC an its future will only be a positive aspect in the future of our club.
2. We are going to re strip the club next year. To do this effectively we will be needing more funds. The major raffle we are holding has been somewhat disappointing in it’s result as we only raised half of what we had hoped for. There were whole teams that sold less than 10 tickets as a team. All this means is that we have to work harder to raise more money for the new strips. More info on Monday night.
3. Please advise all your team members that the strip they are currently wearing (except for the new ones supplied this year – the navy blue ones with the #10 on the front) are for sale. Please collect either payment for these items as listed below or return the strip to the club. You will all be provided with a check sheet. Please note if strips are not returned they will be charged to the player. Check sheets will be available for your personal team either on Saturday morning at the Ground officials desk or on Monday night at the meeting.
4. The pricing of the strip is simple:
a. Junior Non Comp 5,6,7,8and 9s – strip cost is $5.00 each
b. All other teams $10.00 each.
